The Red Lion is the birthplace of the Open Championship. Famed and historically significant within the golfing community, we have hosted many an Open champion throughout the years. Here at the Red Lion you can choose to sit in our dining area or at the bar or venture outside into our spacious beer garden and patio to enjoy our wide range of dishes and drinks. We offer a breakfast menu, A La Carte, special offers, children’s menu, chef’s specials & desserts.
Our kitchen is also open for delivery and collection to enjoy at home, and you can order via Just Eat and FoodHub.
Yes absolutely, although at peak times we’d highly recommend reserving a table online as we can get very busy!
There is always space to walk in for a drink or two, and you are welcome to wait for a table in our bar area.
Our outside areas are strictly first come first served, so be sure to get down early when the sun is shining!
We are open from 10am everyday of the week, so come on in for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just drinks and let us take care of you with our locally sourced great food and drink options.
